About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing server-side logic, databases, and APIs that support our web applications and services.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
- Build secure and efficient server-side applications
- Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to optimize data storage and retrieval
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs
- Write unit and integration tests
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and frameworks like Express or NestJS
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar)
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Knowledge of authentication and security protocols
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with testing frameworks is a plus
